Mahsa Amini Human rights and Security Accountability Act is a United States federal law that was enacted on April 24, 2024 as a bipartisan human rights and anti-terrorism legislation in the United States that, for the first time, imposes sanctions and holds accountable leaders of the Islamic Republic regime in Iran for their domestic suppression, crimes against humanity, and international terrorism. The legislation was first introduced by Rep. Jim Banks and then by Sen. Marco Rubio in the senate.

The SHIP Act (H.R. 3774)

The Stop Harboring Iranian Petroleum Act (SHIP Act) is a U.S. law enacted in 2024 to strengthen sanctions on Iran’s petroleum sector.
